Holy Cross Annual Homecoming Picnic
Holy Cross Church will celebrate its homecoming with a morning Mass at 11am followed by a chicken dinner from 12noon to 4pm. Don't miss this long-standing tradition, which features live music, kid's games, wagon rides, a silent auction, BINGO and more.

Annual RFC Benefit Dinner at historic Legs Inn
Come out and support our community's firefighters and first responders at the annual Benefit Dinner at historic Legs Inn, in Cross Village, Michigan. Dinner for adults will be $25 and kids under 12 will be $10. Legs Inn will donate all proceeds from this event to the RFC. Two dinner options include: Taste of Poland or Roasted Chicken dinner. Tickets will be available at the door and the event will take place Wed. 9/7 from 5pm to 8pm. All are welcome. POLANIE Polish Song & Dance Ensemble
Legs Inn proudly welcomes back POLANIE Song & Dance Ensemble for three special performances outdoors under our festival tent in the Legs Inn Gardens. From its inception in 1996, POLANIE's mission has been to promote the opulent beauty of Polish folklore among Polish and American communities through song and dance and the portrayal of customs and traditions. This mix of university and high school students pride themselves on being part of an ensemble which strictly adheres to the authenticity of dances as well as the costumes and to the originality of the choreography. POLANIE's repertoire includes all Polish national dances, a rich variety of regional dances and stage plays portraying Polish customs and traditions such as the Goralskie Wesele (Highlander's Wedding), Dozynki ( Harvest Celebration), Noc Swietojanska (St John's Eve), Jaselka (Nativity Play), Swieconka (Easter Celebration). Every three years POLANIE travel to Rzeszow, Poland to perform at the World Festival of Polish Folk Dancing.

Annual 2011 "End of the Season" Halloween Bash with The Jelly Roll Blues Band
It's never too early to start thinking about your costume for Northern Michigan's liveliest and most gruesome Halloween celebration. Sunday October 23, 2011 is the date...plan to come out and celebrate one last time with friends, coworkers, ghouls and goblins. Plus, it's your last chance to see Northern Michigan's favorite live music act The Jelly Roll Blues Band. Awards will be given out to the top costumes, as voted by you the people.
